Your mission

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead the growth of our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) energy storage solutions business. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying, developing, and closing sales opportunities for battery energy storage systems (BESS) tailored to C&I customers across various industries.
You will work closely with engineering, product, and project management teams to deliver compelling proposals and drive revenue growth in the C&I segment.

Your main responsibilities

  • Help to develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for C&I energy storage solutions in UK/Ireland region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with commercial and industrial clients, including direct customers, developers, EPCs, and utilities.
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and closing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to ensure long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to customise technical and commercial offerings based on client needs.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine sales tactics.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and reporting to Country Manager.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Energy, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on energy storage, renewable energy, or related clean tech sectors.
  • Strong understanding of the C&I energy market, including customer economics, energy tariffs, and grid services.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in any additional European language would be an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Travel as needed (70%).
